About Us
Hello and Shalom! We are Richard & Robyn, creators and administrators of TorahBride.com. We have been happily married since January 2017 and have been blessed with two healthy children. We met online after struggling to meet other like minded people who loved the Bible, followed Yeshua (Jesus), and believed the Torah was still relevant for today.
Our desire is to serve our brothers and sisters in Yeshua (Jesus) by connecting eligible Torah pursuant brides and grooms for the purpose of marriage. We happily offer our services free of charge and pray that you may be blessed in your search for a Torah husband or wife. We both take an active role with this Website, with Richard managing the operation of the Site and reviewing Eligible Groom profiles (men seeking a wife) and Robyn reviewing Eligible Bride profiles (women seeking a husband).
FAQ
Are there any fees?
We are proud to offer our services completely free of charge. We believe that one of the greatest gifts is a spouse from YHWH, and we have chosen to cover all costs of running the website.
Will my information be sold?
Absolutely not. We have no advertisements on this site nor wish to have any affiliation with any advertisers.
Who is this site for?
This site is for single Torah pursuant men and women who are seeking a spouse. We also proudly support parents or guardians who desire to play an active role in finding a spouse for the eligible bride or groom.
How old do I need to be to create a profile?
As a general rule of thumb, users must be at least 16 to create a profile on our site. If a user is 16 or 17, they must have a parent or legal guardian act as their main point of contact. If marriage laws in your State or Country dictate an age older than 16 for marriage, then you must follow the age requirements as set out in your Country.
How do I create a profile?
Easy! Please visit www.TorahBride.com/create-account/ where you can choose a relevant profile type. We offer four profile types depending on your situation. More information about our profile types can also be found in our Terms of Service.
What do you mean by "Torah pursuant"?
When we use the word “Torah”, we are generally referencing the first five books of the Hebrew Bible or what some would call “the Law”. More broadly, when we say “Torah pursuant”, we are referencing the fact that Messiah Yeshua followed the Torah and called His followers to do the same.
Will most people have similar beliefs on this site?
We have purposely kept our Statement of Faith short and concise (see our Terms of Service) to include a wide range of beliefs. Fundamentally, most users of this site will hold common beliefs to include:
- Yeshua is the Risen Messiah
- The Torah is still valid and relevant for Bible Believers today.
Where things will differ greatly is in the application of Torah in the life of a Believer.
Do you support polygamous marriages?
Unless polygamy is legal in your country, we do not support it on this website. Our Terms of Service provide clear expectations of each user of our Site to follow all marriage laws of the country in which they reside.
