TorahBride.com is a free, faith-based dating website created with the goal of connecting Torah pursuant Brides and Grooms for the purpose of marriage. These Terms of Service (the “Terms” or “Agreement”) govern the use of TorahBride.com (the “Site”). This Site is owned by Rock Investments LLC, and operated by Site Administrators.

By accessing or using TorahBride.com Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

It is important that you read this Agreement and these policies and procedures carefully before creating an account. This Agreement applies to anyone who accesses or uses our Services, regardless of whether they register for an account with our Site or not. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, do not access or use our Services.

THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CONTAIN A DISPUTE RESOLUTION CLAUSE THAT IMPACTS YOUR RIGHTS ABOUT HOW TO RESOLVE DISPUTES. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. TORAHBRIDE.COM TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OF INFORMATION CONTAINED IN USER PROFILES. IT IS UP TO EACH USER TO EXERCISE DUE DILIGENCE WHEN CONTACTING OTHER USERS.

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or change the Terms of Service at any time. Notice of any change will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued access or use of our Services constitutes your ongoing consent to any changes, and as a result, you will be legally bound by the updated Terms. If you do not accept a change to the Terms, you must stop accessing or using our Services immediately.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

As TorahBride.com is a faith based website, all users must agree to the basic Statement of Faith:

• You agree that the Holy Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired word of YHWH.
• You agree that the Torah is still relevant for followers of the Holy Bible.
• You agree that Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth is the Messiah and was raised from the dead in accordance with Scripture.

If a user does not agree to this Statement of Faith, they must not create an account, use our Services or contact any TorahBride.com user.

IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOWING LOCAL MARRIAGE LAW

As TorahBride.com aims to connect Torah pursuant Brides and Grooms for the purpose of marriage, it’s crucial to understand that the laws of your Country always take precedence. This includes any real or perceived contradictions between marriage age requirements of your Country and those listed on our Site. In the event of such a discrepancy, you are solely responsible for adhering to the relevant local laws governing marriage in your specific location. We encourage you to consult with legal counsel to ensure full compliance with all applicable marriage laws. 

PROFILE TYPES AND REQUIREMENTS

TorahBride.com is dedicated to helping Torah-observant individuals in their search for a husband or wife. To ensure a safe and compatible user base, we’ve established four different Profile types, each with different requirements as follows:

Eligible Bride

• An “Eligible Bride” profile is for a female seeking a husband.
• The Eligible Bride must be 18 years or older.
• Communication goes through the Eligible Bride (and not a Guardian.)
• The Eligible Bride agrees to comply with all applicable marriage laws.

Eligible Groom

• An “Eligible Groom” profile is for a male seeking a wife.
• The Eligible Groom must be 18 years or older.
• Communication goes through the Eligible Groom (and not a Guardian.)
• The Eligible Groom agrees to comply with all applicable marriage laws.

Eligible Bride With Guardian

For Eligible Brides 18 Years Or Older With A Guardian:

• An “Eligible Bride With Guardian” profile is for a female seeking a husband where the Eligible Bride has a Guardian involved in the marriage seeking process. 
• A Guardian can be a parent, legal guardian, sibling, or trusted friend. 
• The Guardian must be 18 years or older.
• Communication may go through either the Eligible Bride or the Guardian using the Eligible Bride With Guardian profile type however the profile must make it very clear whether communication is going through the Guardian or the Eligible Bride.
• Both the Eligible Bride and the Guardian agree to comply with all applicable marriage laws.

For Eligible Bride 16-17 Years Old With A Guardian:

• If the Eligible Bride using the Eligible Bride With Guardian profile is 16 or 17 years old, they MUST have written consent from the parent or legal guardian to create a profile. This consent must be obtained from the parent or guardian and submitted to TorahBride.com Administrators before your profile will be approved.
• All communication must go through the parent or legal guardian and not the Eligible Bride.
• The Profile MUST clearly identify that all communication is going through the parent or legal guardian.
• Both the Eligible Bride and the Guardian agree to comply with all applicable marriage laws.

Eligible Groom With Guardian

For Eligible Grooms 18 Years Or Older With A Guardian:

• An “Eligible Groom With Guardian” profile is for a male seeking a wife where the Eligible Groom has a Guardian involved in the marriage seeking process. 
• A Guardian can be a parent, legal guardian, sibling, or trusted friend. 
• The Guardian must be 18 years or older.
• Communication may go through either the Eligible Groom or the Guardian using the Eligible Groom With Guardian profile type however the profile must make it very clear whether communication is going through the Guardian or the Eligible Groom.
• Both the Eligible Groom and the Guardian agree to comply with all applicable marriage laws.

For Eligible Grooms 16-17 Years Old With A Guardian:

• If the Eligible Groom using the Eligible Groom With Guardian profile is 16 or 17 years old, they MUST have written consent from the parent or legal guardian to create a profile. This consent must be obtained from the parent or guardian and submitted to TorahBride.com Administrators before your profile will be approved.
• All communication must go through the parent or legal guardian and not the Eligible Groom.
• The Profile MUST clearly identify that all communication is going through the parent or legal guardian.
• Both the Eligible Groom and the Guardian agree to comply with all applicable marriage laws.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF A GUARDIAN 

• The Guardian is prohibited from seeking any relationship of any kind with anyone on the Site.
• A Guardian must be 18 years old or older.
• The relationship between the Guardian and Eligible Bride or Eligible Groom must be clearly stated on the profile.
• The Guardian must notify the Eligible Bride or Eligible Groom that an account has been created.
• The Guardian agrees to be fully transparent when communicating with Eligible Brides or Eligible Grooms and ensure other Eligible Brides or Eligible Grooms are fully aware that they are speaking with the Guardian and not the Eligible Bride or Eligible Groom. The Guardian must never impersonate the Eligible Bride or Eligible Groom in any way. All conceivable efforts must be made by the Guardian to meet this requirement.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN

If you are creating a profile for a minor (someone under the age of 18 or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent and warrant that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms of Service on their behalf.

By creating a profile for a minor and use TorahBride.com Services, you agree to:

• Take full responsibility for the minor’s activity on the platform.
• Supervise the minor’s use of TorahBride.com at all times.
• Indemnify and hold harmless TorahBride.com, its Owners, Site Administrators and Operators, from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to the minor’s use of the platform.

ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY; YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Before you create an account on TorahBride.com, make sure you are eligible to use our Services. This Section details what you can and can’t do when using our services. In order to use our services, you must meet ALL of the following:

• You are not prohibited by law from using our Services.
• You meet the age requirements of the relevant “Profile Type” as described.
• You are legally qualified to enter a binding contract with TorahBride.com
• You are not on a list of individuals prohibited from conducting business with the United States.
• You have not committed, been convicted of, or pled no contest to a felony or indictable offense (or crime of similar severity), a sex crime, or any crime involving violence or a threat of violence.
• You are not required to register as a sex offender with any state, federal or local sex offender registry.

If at any time you cease to meet these requirements you must immediately delete your account and cease all contact with all users on our Site.

You agree to:

• Comply with these Terms and periodically check this page to ensure you are aware of any changes;
• All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes;
• Comply with all applicable laws, including without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, and regulatory requirements;
• Treat other users in a courteous and respectful manner, both on and off our Services;
• Be respectful when communicating with Site Administrators;
• Maintain a strong password and take reasonable measures to protect the security of your login information.

You agree not to:

• Use our Site for illegal purposes;
• Use our Site for marketing of any business, service or third-party Website.
• Solicit money or other items of value from another user, whether as a gift, loan, or form of compensation;
• Solicit passwords for any purpose, or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users or disseminate another person’s personal information without his or her permission;
• Harass or mistreat other users of our Site;
• Violate the rights of other users of our Site;
• Violate the intellectual property rights of the Site owners or any third party to the Site;
• Hack into the account of another user of the Site;
• Act in any way that could be considered fraudulent;
• Post any material that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive; or
• Behave in any way that might bring TorahBride.com or Site Administrators into negative light.

If we believe you are using our Site illegally or in a manner that violates these Terms of Service, we reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate access to our Site. We also reserve the right to take any legal steps necessary to prevent you from accessing our Site.

Prohibited Content:

TorahBride.com prohibits sharing or uploading content that:

• Is obscene, pornographic, violent or otherwise may offend human dignity, or contains nudity;
• Encourages or facilitates any illegal activity;
• Is defamatory, libelous, or untrue;
• Includes the image or likeness of another person without that person’s consent;
• May harm the reputation of TorahBride.com or Site Administrators.

MEMBER MODERATION

TorahBride.com is committed to providing a safe and respectful online environment for our users. To achieve this, Site Administrators perform the following functions:

• Reviewing User Registrations: A thorough manual review process ensures the integrity of our community by welcoming users who align with our core values.
• Maintaining Community Standards: Site Administrators diligently review user profiles and content for compliance with our Terms of Service.
• Removing Inappropriate Content: Content deemed offensive, harmful, or in violation of our established guidelines will be removed.
• Addressing Disruptive Behavior: Users who transgress these Terms of Service or engage in disruptive behavior may be suspended or banned to protect the well being of the community as a whole.

Right to Manage the Community

TorahBride.com reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to undertake any of the following actions without prior notice or written explanation:

• Denying New User Registrations: We may deny user registrations for any reason, including, but not limited to, suspected fraudulent activity or a user’s background demonstrating incompatibility with our community values.
• Deleting Content: Content deemed inappropriate, harmful, or in violation of our guidelines, even if not reported by users, may be removed.
• Deleting User Profiles and Accounts: User profiles and accounts may be deleted for any reason, including, but not limited to, a violation of our Terms of Service or behavior deemed detrimental to the community as a whole.

Please note:  While this right is reserved, it will be exercised judiciously with the primary objective of maintaining a positive and respectful community environment.

Reporting Or Blocking Other Users

Your active contribution is crucial in maintaining a positive experience for everyone.  Should you encounter any content or user behavior that, in your judgment, violates our Terms of Service, we encourage you to report it promptly.  Reporting can be easily accomplished by:

• Clicking the designated “Report” button on profiles or content.
• Sending an email to info@TorahBride.com.

Additionally, users have the option to block other users by clicking the “Block” function on their profiles.

Site Administrators will meticulously review all reported concerns and take appropriate action based on the established Terms of Service.

DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY

Collection and Use of Personal Information:

TorahBride.com collects personal information from users in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Protection of Personal Information:

We are committed to maintaining the security and confidentiality of your personal information. We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of personal data.

Data Retention:

We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When personal information is no longer needed, we will securely dispose of or anonymize it to prevent unauthorized access.

TorahBride.com and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site. 

INDEMNITY

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless TorahBride.com and its Owners, Site Administrators, agents, employees and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms of Service, including but not limited to: defamatory or offensive content posted by you, fraudulent activity undertaken on the Site by you, or any personal injury resulting from offline interactions between users.

APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Subject to any exceptions specified in these Terms of Service, if you and TorahBride.com are unable to resolve any dispute through informal discussion, then you and TorahBride.com agree to submit the issue before a mediator. The decision of the mediator will not be binding. Any mediator must be a neutral party acceptable to both you and TorahBride.com. You, the User, agree to cover all associated costs of mediation.

Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms of Service, you and TorahBride.com agree that you both retain the right to bring an action in small claims court and to bring an action for injunctive relief or intellectual property infringement. 

SEVERABILITY

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms of Service are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms of Service. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms of Service will still be considered valid.

CHANGES

These Terms of Service may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will change the “effective date” at the top of this page in the event the terms of service is updated or changed.
